Learning objective: Explain the evidence model and use it to plan a manageable portfolio.

Version 5.0 uses a simple overall model: ten modules, with three evidence pieces for each module. This produces 30 purposeful evidence pieces across the complete portfolio. The aim is not to upload everything you have ever done. Each item should have a clear role in demonstrating specified standards.

• Evidence 1 in each module is mandatory and must be completed as described.
• Evidence 2 and Evidence 3 are agreed candidate-choice items.
• The three items together should address the standards assigned to that module.
• Quality, clarity and coverage matter more than file size.

A short, well-annotated artefact supported by a concise explanation may be stronger than a long generic essay. Avoid duplication: if two proposed items show exactly the same knowledge and behaviour, one may not be earning its place.

Create a ten-row portfolio overview in the workbook. Record each module, the mandatory task and two provisional evidence opportunities.
